Auction Rules
- 1The reference clock is the server clock, shown on every auction page.
- 2No bid below the minimum next bid (current price + the published increment band) is accepted.
- 3Proxy bidding: you register a secret ceiling and the system bids for you by the minimum needed. The ceiling is never shown to anyone.
- 4When two ceilings tie, the earlier bid wins.
- 5Any bid in the last 2 minutes extends the auction by 2 minutes (max 30 extensions), and the extension is announced instantly to everyone.
- 6Every event is recorded in a hash-chained log that cannot be rewritten retroactively, even by moderators.
- 7If a reserve exists its value is never revealed. Only a "reserve not met" state is shown.
- 8After a win, a conversation opens automatically between winner and seller to arrange payment and handover.
